The Morse Academy was established as an initiative by the Radio Amateur Association aboard the SS Rotterdam. Born out of a love for the craft and recognition of Morse as a unique skill, the Academy was founded to pass on the art of sending and receiving Morse to new generations.
Our courses go beyond teaching the practical aspects of Morse code. We also provide students with historical and technical insights, offering a broad understanding of its significance. Unlike many other programs, the Morse Academy conducts its own examinations for students who have reached the required proficiency level. These exams are more challenging and comprehensive than those offered in many other countries.
As a nonprofit organization, we aim to keep course fees as low as possible, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate. Our teaching team is composed of passionate and experienced former maritime radio operators who bring their professional expertise to the classroom.
